Transformer core RFQ guide
Use this checklist to define the manufacturing scope before price and delivery are confirmed.

RFQ checklist
Twelve inputs for review
- 1 / Core drawing
- PDF, DWG or DXF; include drawing number, revision, units and assembly interfaces
- 2 / Lamination schedule
- Joint sequence, holes, notches and piece identification when available
- 3 / Application
- Transformer type and rated power in kVA or MVA
- 4 / Voltage
- Primary and secondary voltage; insulation level where specified
- 5 / CRGO grade
- Specified GOES grade, or state that a recommendation is required
- 6 / Thickness
- Nominal material thickness
- 7 / Loss requirement
- Target or acceptance limit with its test basis
- 8 / Supply format
- Slit coil, cut laminations, pre-stacked packets, stacked core, assembled core, SKD or CKD
- 9 / Quantity
- Number of cores, sets or repeat batches
- 10 / Destination
- Port, country and named delivery point
- 11 / Packing
- Route, storage, lifting, unloading and marking requirements
- 12 / Schedule

Mark unknown items as open. A firm manufacturing release still requires an approved drawing or complete dimensional definition.
